Welcome Foodies, Wine Lovers and Adventurers!

John is a published credentialed member of the San Francisco Bay Area Travel Writers (BATW),a published member of the Redwood Writers Club, a branch of the California Writers Club and a credentialed member of the International Food, Wine and Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA). Linda is also a member of the IFWTWA and has produced amazingly creative pictures of landscapes, outdoor wonders, scenery and food for over 10 years. Both are WSET Certified and serve as wine judges for several California wine competitions. They also co-founded the High Sierra Wine Society which has 70 members.

We have lived in numerous places in the U.S; Europe and Asia and have traveled them all over the years. We have lived longest in Northern California ranging from San Francisco, south to the San Jose area, north to Sonoma County and now live in Reno, NV. We like nothing more than getting out there and experiencing the world, no matter if it’s a destination close to home, a road trip, or a journey to a romantic international destination.

We are not food or wine critics so don’t look for technical descriptions of cuisine or wines but you can count on us for an objective description of our favorite experiences with food (bites), wine (flights) or destinations (sights).
